ONE Lab

ONE Lab is the educational arm of green design non-profit Terreform ONE. Based at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, we're partnering with Yard neighbor the Brooklyn STEAM Center (a high school serving juniors & seniors learning design skills for college or trade) to offer both their amazing students and external high school students a summer intensive program in what we do: regenerative, indigenous-inspired design working with biomaterials (you can see examples of our work both at terreform.org and ONE Lab's own site, onelab.org). It's important for us to work with Bklyn STEAM because so many of their students come from communities that are worst affected by environmental and climate change crises, so we're educating them on practices & career pathways that will give them tools to fight for their communities and environmental justice. The other students come from a variety of backgrounds: together with the B-STEAM scholars they will all make up a truly diverse learning community.
